LEADER

Leading a clan can be both difficult, and rewarding.

Your job as a clan leader is to hold all of the clan gatherings, ceremonies, report clan news at full moons, appoint new deputies, warriors, elders, apprentices/mentors, choose warrior names, and make all clan decisions. You can be a tough but fair leader, or a strict yet caring leader. It is your choice how you lead your clan, but you must follow the warrior code, and not be too ambitious.

When a kit becomes an apprentice, an apprentice becomes a warrior, a warrior retires, there is a new deputy, or you are calling a clan gathering, you must say these words.

Gatherings
Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting.

Apprentice Ceremony
By naming this apprentice, we show that [Insert Clan name here] will survive and remain strong. [Insert kit name here], from now on you will be known as [Insert apprentice name here]....
[Insert mentor name here], you are ready for an apprentice. You will be [Insert apprentice name here]'s mentor.

Warrior Ceremony
[Insert apprentice name here], you [Insert qualities to become a warrior here]. It is time for you to become a warrior. I name you [Insert warrior name (you decide it) here]. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?
[Wait for response of, 'I do.']
Then I commend you to CloudClan, to become a warrior.

Retirement Ceremony
[Insert warrior name here], is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?
[Wait for response of, 'It is.']
Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon CloudClan to give you many seasons of rest.

Deputy Ceremony
I say these words before the body of (name of former deputy), that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of (name of Clan) will be (warrior's name)! This is usually done after the death of the deputy, but if the deputy isn't dead...

I say these words before StarClan, in hope that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of (name of Clan) will be (warrior's name)!

DEPUTY

As the second-in-command and close confidant of the leader, you retain a position of both power and responsibility.

Your job as deputy is to aid the leader in their tasks and replace them when they die/retire. You are also responsible for maintaining patrols for the Clan. If the leader is unable to lead the Clan in sickness or they are away, the deputy is responsible for the Clan in that period of time. You are also responsible for organizing training for warriors, make reports to the Clan leader, and maintain your warrior duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

- must be a warrior
- must have trained at least one apprentice
- must be chosen by the Clan leader
